Steen Ipsen (b. 1966) is a Danish ceramicist internationally recognized for his sculptural works that combine organic forms with strict geometric structures. His work is characterized by precise shaping, often executed in ceramic materials with glossy surfaces and strong contrasting colors.
Ipsen’s works balance functionality and experimentation, challenging the boundaries of classical ceramics. He has exhibited widely in Europe, Asia, and the USA and is represented in major collections, including Designmuseum Denmark and Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
