Robert Jacobsen (1912-1993) was a Danish sculptor and graphic artist known for his abstract iron sculptures and monumental installations. Jacobsen’s works balance between the heavy and the light, often displaying elegant simplicity and a sense of movement. He was a key figure in Danish and international abstract art and received multiple honors, including the Thorvaldsen Medal.
