Robert Jacobsen (1912-1993) was a Danish sculptor and graphic artist known for his abstract iron sculptures and monumental installations. Jacobsen’s works balance between the heavy and the light, often displaying elegant simplicity and a sense of movement. He was a key figure in Danish and international abstract art and received multiple honors, including the Thorvaldsen Medal.
His works can be seen in public spaces and museums worldwide, including the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
