Ejler Bille (1910-2004) was a Danish painter and sculptor, known for his role in the Danish avant-garde and the COBRA movement. Bille’s works are characterized by abstract forms and a rich use of color, exploring a world of organic structures and imaginative figures. He worked with sculptures, paintings, and reliefs, often expressing a sense of the cosmic and the primordial. Bille exhibited globally and is one of the most significant representatives of abstract art in Denmark.
