Corneille

Cornelis Guillaume van Beverloo, known as Corneille (1922-2010), was a Dutch artist and one of the founders of the COBRA movement. Corneille’s works are characterized by their use of strong colors and a naïve, almost childlike style, often featuring themes of animals, nature, and women. His paintings and lithographs are known for their lively energy and spontaneous expression. Corneille exhibited internationally and received great recognition for his unique style, which blends modernism with a universal mythology.
