Carl-Henning Pedersen (1913-2007) was a Danish painter and a prominent figure in the COBRA movement. His works are characterized by spontaneous, imaginative figures and strong colors, often inspired by mythology and childhood innocence. He painted both canvases and frescoes, and his style is marked by a nearly naïve simplicity that extends into surreal, dreamlike landscapes. His works are displayed in museums worldwide, and the Carl-Henning Pedersen & Else Alfelts Museum in Herning is dedicated to his life and work.
