He has worked with a wide range of materials, including bronze, glass, ceramics, and concrete, and his art is often marked by strong storytelling and social critique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">N\u00f8rgaard gained fame in 1969 with his controversial performance <em>and has since created a series of significant public artworks, including the tapestries for Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.
